Our stock rooms are pretty big and over the years we’ve managed to accumulate some interesting and unusual items. In fact we can often supply from stock, although one enquiry we received a few days ago certainly had us scratching our heads!
Derick, who has been in the fasteners business more years than he would admit to, received an enquiry for an M162 bolt! The initial enquiry was certainly for a bolt bigger than any of us have ever seen and at over six and a half inches in diameter , which “busts” anything else .
Whilst unusual, this enquiry is among a variety of similar unusual requests. With our huge stock and strong relationships with suppliers we can often find the unusual or even bizzare!
