Leyton Fasteners new website launched last month, with a completely new look, more information for customers and a brand new web-shop.
The new site was built to make finding products and information much easier. We have a section on our range of mainstream fasteners. We remain one of the few Fasteners companies with a huge back catalogue and storerooms of obsolete fasteners, with further information on the new site.
We also offer a range of technical information:
- Bolt and setscrew information.
- Screw drivers and nut drivers.
- Nut dimensions.
- Thread data and tapping drill sizes.
- Washer dimensions.
Whilst our credit account customers use us directly, we are seeing a greater volume of sales coming from the website, hence the new look. We have also seen demand for a web-shop, where customers can order online, with goods despatched the following day.
The web-shop offers:
- Hexagon bolts and set screws
- Button socket screws.
- Socket cap screws.
- Countersunk socket screws.
- Washers; form A, Form B, Repair and spring washers.
- Nuts, full and nyloc.
We offer the above in both bright zinc plate and stainless, prices clearly reflect low volumes required, for box quantities, we ask that customers come to us direct for prices where higher or box quantities are required. Since launch we have had customers from Bicycle repair businesses, to small engineering and manufacturing. Perhaps the biggest surprise has been the geographic spread of customers, literally from Northern Scotland to Cornwall.
We have also launched a new classic car website and web-shop specifically for classic car owners, with a broad range of UNC/UNF as well as metric ranges. Our classic car customers normally require small bags of 10 fasteners or mixed bags, such that we have now expanded our range to cover an even wider base. Classic car customers particularly value the high quality of fasteners we offer at competitive prices.
