Prices
There does appear to be a “relentless” increase in prices, despite currency fluctuations in favour of the pound. The drivers appear to be driven by iron ore costs and rampant global demand, as well as the well-publicised shipping costs.
Stock & delivery times
We are keeping a close eye on our stock levels and prudently buying in advance where we can, however, this only applies to “fast moving” items, so if you need large volumes or something more bespoke, it would be as well to start talking to us now, as lead times are being extended and stock at our suppliers is dwindling fast.
